I put over 327,000 miles on it, and maintained it myself for all of the 13 years that I owned it. It had the original gearbox, turbo, engine.... the only real major trouble it had was a head gasket at 220,000 miles. When I replaced the head gasket, I was astounded at the lack of wear that all of the parts exhibited.
It went through one air conditioning compressor, fuel pump, two water pumps, numerous timing belt changes, and of course there were various minor things as well. Not bad for 327,000 miles!
